This informative article is targeted on the intersectionality of race, gender, and physical physical physical violence within the lives of Black/Afro-Latinas who’ve skilled youth abuse that is sexual. First, the trauma is discussed by us of slavery, racism, and colonization in Latin America together with Caribbean, which objectifies Ebony systems and renders Blackness hidden. 2nd, we identify institutional and social obstacles to trauma support that is seeking. 3rd, we present preliminary findings from a Listening group among survivors whom took part in the Ebony Latinidad: Building Siblinghood to finish Child Sexual Abuse Project.
